The Chambers
re-development committee is representing our members
and always trying to reduce any negative impact to our
business community. We enjoy a good relationship with the
Mayor and Council, the Borough Manager and Project Engineers
and they keep us in the loop of any new developments in and
around town. Our Liaison Committee meets at least once a
month with the Borough Manager where we bring our concerns
to light and find solutions to them. The Borough Manager
also brings us up to speed on all relevant information for
the business community.
The Lodi
Chamber is also extending its reach to other towns in Bergen
County through the Inter-Chamber Consortium. We belong to
the Board of the ICC which is now comprised of 10 Chambers
and growing. Together with the ICC we can help our members
expanding into other towns and help them sit with local
Chamber Directors for help with the local government and the
feasability of the new venture.
I would like
to take this opportunity to welcome our new members and
thank our membershipas a whole for their support and as
always we are looking for members to step up and become part
of one of our committees. Lodi has a lot of talented
businessmen and women and we look forward to seeing them get
more involved.
In closing I
hope we all enjoy a prosperous business year and together
make Lodi a better place to do business and a wonderful
place to visit and live in.
Thank you,
Charles Pinto
President
